THE CUCKOO HAUS was conceptualized in 2009 and incorporated on 17 May 2010 as a Specialist Cuckoo Clock Retailer in Singapore.

Our original vision was to exclusively offer authentic Black Forest cuckoo clocks through a single retail outlet at The Central Mall, Clarke Quay. As we gained experience, we recognized the growing importance of online e-commerce in reaching a wider geographical market and offering a broader range of models from different clockmakers. This led to the launch of The Cuckoo Haus Online Store – www.cuckoohaus.com.

Authorized Specialist & Clocksmith Services

As an authorized service and repair partner of the Black Forest Clock Manufacturer Association (VdS) in Germany (Cuckoo Clock Service Stations Worldwide), THE CUCKOO HAUS has established its unique 3R Services:  Repairs | Refurbishment | Restoration.!

We undertake all German and Swiss-made cuckoo clock models, both vintage and modern. Some of the oldest pieces we’ve restored include intricately carved Black Forest clocks dating back to 1964. Occasionally, we take on antique clocks dating back to the late 1800.

Many treasured clocks once left forgotten in storerooms have been revived, bringing immense joy to owners who cherish their sentimental value. New customers can take comfort knowing there is a reliable, authorized, and specialist cuckoo clock repair and service center right here in Singapore.

Since 2018, we have also been the official retail & repair partner of Robert LÖTSCHER AG, the only Swiss cuckoo clockmaker (est. 1920), bringing the well-regarded tradition of Brienz artisanship to Singapore. (Note: LÖTSCHER has since 2020 ceased operations)

In 2020, we expanded our offerings through a partnership with AMS-Uhrenfabrik A. Mayer GmbH, a family-owned German clockmaker established in 1841. The AMS collection ranges from classic grandfather clocks to contemporary pendulum wall clocks.

Most recently, in 2024, THE CUCKOO HAUS proudly became a working partner of HERMLE Drehteile Und Uhren GmbH & Co. KG. Based in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, Hermle is world-renowned for its precision clockworks, gears, and finely crafted timepieces.
