Hermle is a medium-sized family business based in the heart of the German state of Baden-Württemberg – in a picturesque setting at the southern edge of Swabian Alb (Alps). We are known for precise clocks and clockworks as well as sophisticated turned parts. In short, we are a global player with regional roots. Together with our customers, we look for optimal solutions and gladly go the extra mile for them. In our production for external customers, we make use of our immense experience in the manufacture of clock components. Conversely, in the area of clockworks, we benefit from our expertise in producing turned parts because we are able to manufacture all individual components for the clockworks in our own turning facility.
In addition to their aesthetically pleasing designs and outstanding workmanship, Hermle clocks are so popular across the globe in particular because of their unique interior. Our mechanical clockworks meet the highest standards. And, when it comes to the production of mechanical clockworks for large clocks, Hermle is now the world's only full range provider.
We exclusively use stainless steel for our comprehensive portfolio of clockworks for grandfather clocks, table clocks and wall clocks. All of them either feature a triad – Westminster, Whittington, St. Michael – or only Westminster or a strike every half an hour. Mechanical clockworks from Hermle are 100% "Made in Germany" and all components are manufactured in-house – most of them by hand. In combination with our extensive experience of nearly 102 years, this ensures that everything runs smoothly ... like clockwork. That is the basis for top precision.
In our three divisions (clocks, clockworks and turned parts), we employ a total staff of 180. Our production site is located in Reichenbach am Heuberg. We love our region and are proud of our high production depth. Hermle offers an absolute "Made in Germany" guarantee.
