Following the famous "German Clock Trail" through one of the most beautiful valleys of the Black Forrest, you will discover a small quaint village, almost fairytale-like, of Simonswald. Trailing the winding river and amongst the pine tree lined streams, you will discover a jewel that is TRENKLE Cuckoo clock factory, tucked deep into the hills which has been making cuckoo clocks the traditional way for more than 50 years.

Everything from the case to the small mechanism is produced and assembled in the factory. Today with the modern carpentry workshop, TRENKLE is able to produce screen and 3D laser printed wooden boards which are then cut, sawed and processed further so that all intricate parts of the case including some clock components are carefully assembled with love.

The mechanism among other parts, are stamped by hand in brass sheet, wheels and retaining springs are assembled in precise detailed work by an experienced team. Quartz movement assembly are also carried out by a team of clock making artisans which are then fitted into the various cases.

Before a clock leaves the TRENKLE factory, it is Tested, Inspected and Set precisely, in accordance with the highest standard.
